The Kabbalah Centre is headquartered in Los Angeles California. The Centre provides courses as well as Kabbilistic teachings. The mysteries surrounding Kabbalah are said to be very complex and sometimes difficult to understand. Therefore, Rabbis believe it should only be taught to truly devout Jews. The teachings of Kabbalah are said to have a secretive and somewhat mystic tradition.

The Kabbalah Center was founded in the mid 1960’s. However, the Los Angeles location of the Kabbalah Center first opened in the summer of 1984. Phillip Berg is the original founder of the Kabbalah Center. However, his wife also became involved in Kabbalah at a later time. Eventually, Phillip Berg and wife Karen re-established the Kabbalah Center in New York City.

The general belief surrounding the teaching of Kabbalah is that the Kabbilistic teachings should be taught to Jews that do not have previous knowledge of Hebrew and its associated teachings.
